THANK YOU TO DUBIOUS CLAIMS BREWERY in Excelsior Springs for letting us host this event.

What started as a fundraiser turned into something SOOO much more. Totally unplanned, we had BRO'S JOES CELEBRITIES volunteer to be our bingo callers.

THIS was 100% a glimpse into what Bro's Joes is really about. Coffee is just a means to the end. This type of participation, acceptance, and FUN is what we are really about!

Yes, there were tears shed. Starting a business, a nonprofit, from scratch is HARD WORK. But it is times like this that reminds us of our WHY.

We can always use volunteers to help at these events, or to work behind the scenes helping to prepare for events. A lot of work and time goes into these things on top of the business planning that is also going on. There are many, many ways we can use your help. Please reach out to the email or phone number below or thru Facebook if you want to help.

You can also join the Bro's Joes volunteer GROUP page on Facebook to know when we are asking for specific help.

Currently we are needing volunteers to solicit businesses for monetary donations, sponsorships and auction items for the Jazz 'n Joe Gala. Social media, website and Square POS experience is also needed and would be much appreciated. Soon we will need legal advice, HR, payroll and managerial staff.

Bro’s Bunny Bash was a truly meaningful event for us. Going to see the Easter Bunny was something new and therefore frightening. But all those at the event were extremely friendly, eased the anxiety, and were more than genuinely interested in the participant enjoying themselves! The love was palpable!

I hope this will become a yearly event! I loved using my "reacher" to pickup eggs. Loved the Easter bunny! My mom and I thought it was cool you had a sugar free section even though we didn't need it. -- Kaylee

Kaylee enjoyed being able to participate in something that she enjoys but hasn't been able to do in a long time. This was her first time in her power chair so she cold move much more easily.

I cannot thank you enough for the INCREDIBLE Sensory Santa event today. I am so, so moved by all the effort and love that went into it to make it a wonderful experience for everyone. I'm so grateful that my daughter got to experience it, and I will remember it forever! It was such an incredible feeling to know that she was surrounded by people who understand her. I could cry just thinking about it.

Santa was absolutely perfect, too. Couldn't have asked for better.

I can't wait to try the coffee sampler, and I REALLY can't wait to spend all my money at Bro's Joes. 😊😊😊
